Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby selects and appoints as the principal local Council of each of the combined districts bracketed together in the first column of the First Schedule hereto the local Council named opposite in the second column of the said Schedule; and hereby further selects and appoints as the principal Board for the Drainage and River Boards described in the first column of the Second Schedule hereto the Board named in the second column of the said Second Schedule.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of November 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the 26th day of April 1956, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the sides and portions of streets described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the eastern side of Lyndock Street or to that portion of the northern side of Airedale Street fronting Allotment 78 on Deposited Plan No. 4675 and being part of Section 36 and comprised in certificates of title; Volume 91, folio 241, and Volume 160, folio 226, Auckland Registry, as the same are shown coloured red on the plan attached hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE eastern side of street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Lyndock Street, fronting Allotments 78 and 79, Section 36, City of Auckland.
Also the northern side of portion of street in the said land district and city, known as Airedale Street, fronting Allotment 78, Section 36, City of Auckland.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152039 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
