PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the agreement as to fencing contained in memorandum of transfer No. 576468, Auckland Land Registry, for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of November 1956.
