“(1) The company be wound up voluntarily.
“(2) Herbert George West, of Nelson, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, Lloyd Edward Cresswell, Robert Saunders, and Rosa Caroline Freeman, carrying on business at 47 Grey Street, Palmerston North, as wood and coal merchants under the style or firm name of Manawatu Produce Exchange, has been dissolved as from the 1st day of October 1956, so far as concerns the said Rosa Caroline Freeman who has retired from the said firm. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the undersigned Lloyd Edward Cresswell and Robert Saunders who will continue to carry on the said business in partnership under the same style or firm name of Manawatu Produce Exchange.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
PURSUANT to section 300 of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that, on the 9th day of November 1956, a resolution for a voluntary winding up was passed by means of an entry in the minute book of the company in accordance with section 300 (subsection 7) of the Companies Act 1933, and that a meeting of the creditors of Hart's Pacific Agencies Limited will be held, pursuant to section 300 of the said Act, in the Chamber of Commerce Board Room, 2 Courthouse Lane, Auckland C. 1, at 10 a.m. on Monday, the 19th day of November 1956, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE under section 300 of the Companies Act 1933 is hereby given that, pursuant to a special resolution dated the 31st day of October 1956, Waimarama Transport Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1933 having its registered office at Hastings, resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily by the members and that John William Drury, of Hastings, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.

PURSUANT to section 333 of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that General Motors Acceptance Corporation Incorporated, with limited liability in the State of New York in the United States of America, with Head Office for New Zealand at Lower Hutt, will cease to have a place of business in New Zealand on the expiration of three months from the first publication of this notice.
Following a rearrangement of its overseas business, the business now carried on by the corporation in New Zealand will, from 1 November 1956, be carried on as previously by General Motors Acceptance Corporation Limited Incorporated, with limited liability in the State of Delaware in the United States of America.

CANCELLING THE REGISTRY OF A SOCIETY
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 8th day of November 1956, cancelled the registry of Blackball Lodge, No. 59, of the Grand Lodge of the North Island of New Zealand of the United Ancient Order of Druids (Register No. 296/56), held at Blackball, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

WOODVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Woodville Borough Council made on the 12th day of March 1956, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Woodville Borough. The scheme has been deposited in the office of the Council and the Woodville Public Library, and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than noon on the 18th day of February 1957. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Foxton Borough Council at its meeting held on the 20th day of August 1956 has resolved to prepare for the Foxton Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Foxton District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 31st day of January 1957.
