Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act
1948 as from the 12th day of November 1956.

Rules of Waitaki Acclimatisation Society Approved

Pursuant to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the
Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules
of the Waitaki Acclimatisation Society have been approved by
him under that subsection.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 8) 1956

Pursuant to regulation 15 of the Import Control Regulations
1938,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control
    Exemption Notice (No. 8) 1956.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 8th day of
    November 1956.
  2. Goods of the class specified in the Schedule hereto, im-
    ported from and being the produce or manufacture of any
    country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a
    licence under the said regulations.

Class of Goods: Pictures in negative or positive form on
glass, or film, for making printers' plates.

Situated in Block II, Clyde Survey District, Wairoa County.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14363
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Com-
mission at Wellington, and thereon coloured violet.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed
Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

Pursuant to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration
of the Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson and Westland Radio
Traders' Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1808,
situated at Christchurch, will, unless cause to the contrary is
shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the
date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Te Kaha Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the pro-
visions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said
land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 13 January
1932 and published in the Gazette, 21 January 1932, Volume
I, page 115.

Deficiency Payments in Respect of Export Meat

Pursuant to the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, notice is hereby
given that the deficiency payments set out in the Schedule
hereto may be made to the owners in accordance with that
Act for the classes of meat specified in the said Schedule for
the week commencing on Monday, the 5th day of November
1956.
