Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Rules of Southland Acclimatisation Society Approved

PURSUANT to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules of the Southland Acclimatisation Society have been approved by him under that section.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in Waimate West County
(Notice No. Ag. 6182)

PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Waimate West County Council on the 10th day of October 1956.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Waimate West County Council resolves by way of special order that the following additional plants be noxious weeds in the County of Waimate West:

Giant buttercup (Ranunculus acer).
Silver poplar (Populus alba var. nivea).
Stinking mayweed (Anthemis cotula).
Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes).

Biological Products Exempted from the Provisions of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951

PURSUANT to subclause (14) of regulation 40 of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951, notice is hereby given that the Stock Remedies Registration Board has resolved that the provisions of the said regulation shall not apply to the following products:

Bio Caponising Hormone.
Stilkap-Stilboestrol B.P. for the caponisation of poultry.
Mannings Penicillin Ration, for use with animal foods.
Mannings Procal ‘100’ penicillin hypodermic injection (100,000 units) for intramuscular injection.
Mannings Procal ‘500’ penicillin hypodermic injection (500,000 units) for intramuscular injection.
Mannings Procal ‘1500’ penicillin hypodermic injection (1,500,000 units) for intramuscular injection.
