CORRIGENDA

In the notice published in Gazette, 18 October 1956, No. 56, page 1432, under the heading “Wholesalers’ Licences under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33 Surrendered or Revoked”, the following should be deleted:

Timex Watches (Percival Claude Corbett and Stanley Mulqueen, trading as) 1/9/56 Auckland

Webster, John, and Co. (Hubert Daniel Goldsmith and Arthur Joseph Goldsmith, trading as) 1/6/56 Auckland

and inserted as licences granted.

In the notice releasing land from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Whakatohea Development Scheme) published in the Gazette, 4 October 1956, No. 54, page 1369, for “Opapa” read “Opape”.

Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

FIRSTLY, all that piece of land containing 551 acres 1 rood 19 perches, more or less, being the land known as Te Rerengaoahu 1, situated in Block II, Moutere Survey District, as shown on the plan marked W.D. 3976 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Secondly, all that piece of land containing 209 acres and 31 perches, more or less, being the land known as Te Rerengaoahu Part 2B, situated in Block II, Moutere Survey District, as shown on the plan marked W.D. 4073 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of October 1956.

Land Held for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of the Auckland–Hamilton Motorway Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Auckland–Hamilton Motorway, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of November 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 18 acres 3 roods 22 perches.

Being part Allotment 20, Manurewa Parish.

Situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39623.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151888 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of October 1956.
