Declaring Land Taken, Subject to a Building-line Condition

and Subject to a Drainage and Sewerage Easement, for a
Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose
to be Crown Land, Subject to the Said Building-line Con-
dition and to the Said Easement, and Revoking Previous
Notice

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works hereby revokes the notice, dated 4 March 1955, pub-
lished in Gazette, 10 March 1955, Volume I, page 371, and
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Nelson as No. 2045,
declaring land taken for a Government work and not required
for that purpose to be deemed to have been Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948 and, pursuant to section 35 of
the Public Works Act 1928, hereby declares the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been
Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, subject
to the condition as to building line imposed by Order in
Council 1849 and subject to the sewerage and water rights
and rights incidental thereto created by memorandum of
transfer No. 48854, Nelson Land Registry, as from the 6th
day of July 1954.

Whenuapai Aerodrome

In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935
and in the matter of the Whenuapai Aerodrome in the
North Auckland Land District.

The Minister of Works, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers vested in him by section 4 of the Public Works
Amendment Act 1935, hereby gives notice that, for the pur-
pose of making the Whenuapai Aerodrome safe for aviation
purposes, he prohibits the erection, placing, or extension, with-
out his consent, of any building, pole, mast, or other structure
of any kind, and the growing of trees or shrubs of any kind,
on the land described in the Schedule hereto beyond the
heights, above the level of the ground, hereinafter appearing,
that is to say: on the land coloured yellow, a height of 20 ft.;
on the land coloured blue, a height of 30 ft.; on the land
coloured red, a height of 50 ft.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing approximately 23 acres 1
rood 32 perches in the North Auckland Land District, being
part Lot 3, D.P. 15221, being part Allotment 3, Waipareira
Parish, Block VI, Waitemata Survey District, and being the
whole of the land in Proclamation No. 14432 (Auckland Land
Registry); such land being shown on the plan marked P.W.D.
151345 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers

Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified
in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers

Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being
testing officers under the said regulations for the authority
specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders in Guernsey

It is notified for general information that maintenance orders
made in New Zealand and Cook Islands may now be
enforced in Guernsey. The Maintenance Orders (Facilities for
Enforcement) (Reciprocating Countries) (Guernsey) Ordinance
1956, which was promulgated on the 7th day of March
1956, declared New Zealand and the Cook Islands to be
reciprocating countries for the purposes of the Maintenance
Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Guernsey) Law 1955.

Rules of Marlborough Acclimatisation Society Approved

Pursuant to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the
Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules
of the Marlborough Acclimatisation Society have been
approved by him under that subsection.

Revoking a Notice Defining Lands in South Auckland Land

District to Which Water is Supplied Pursuant to Section 8
of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1939

Whereas, pursuant to subsection (5) of section 8 of the Land
Laws Amendment Act 1939, a notice was published in
Gazette, 18 July 1946, Volume II, page 997, notifying that
the lands defined in the Schedule hereto are lands to which
water is supplied under the said section:
And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid notice should
be revoked:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 50
of the Land Act 1948, it is hereby notified that the said
notice is accordingly revoked.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed in Kairanga County

(Notice No. Ag. 6161)

Pursuant to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-
General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the
Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act,
hereby publishes the following special order made by the
Kairanga County Council on the 11th day of September 1956.

SPECIAL ORDER

That the Kairanga County Council, being a local authority
within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, doth
hereby declare, by way of special order, that the plant known
as Stinking Mayweed (Anthemis cotula) be and is hereby
declared to be a noxious weed within the boundaries of the
Kairanga County.
