Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests
Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting
on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and
of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a
provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation
dated the 29th day of April 1919, and published in Gazette,
8 May 1919, Vol. II, page 1287, is required for settlement
purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said
Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting
hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall
become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or
other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1672, situated in Block I, Whitcombe Pass
Survey District: Area, 188 acres, more or less.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 36/1940/1A
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan
4707.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 1st day of August 1956.

Puketi Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for a post office; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day
of August 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1
rood 10Β·7 perches.
Being Section 38, Town of Turangi, as shown on a plan
deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington
as No. 23422, and thereon edged red.
Situated in Block XI, Puketi Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 1st day of August 1956.

Queenstown

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now
held for State housing purposes, is hereby set apart for post
and telegraph purposes (residence); and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day
of August 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 24Β·73
perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 6458, and being Section 22, and part
Sections 1 and 2, Block XI, Town of Queenstown. Part certifi-
cate of title, Volume 329, folio 57, Otago Land Registry.
Situated in the Borough of Queenstown, Otago R.D.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 4th day of August 1956.
