PURSUANT to the Regulations Act 1936, notice is hereby given of the making of regulations as under:

Pursuant to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 3 July 1956, amended the undermentioned standard specifications by the incorporation of the amendments shown hereunder.

Minimum Prices in Respect of Export Meat (Notice No. Ag. 6131)
Pursuant to section 12 of the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Meat Export Prices Committee has prepared the table of minimum prices set out in the Schedule hereto for the classes of meat set out in the said Schedule in respect of meat exported from New Zealand for the year ending 30 September 1957.
SCHEDULE
TABLE OF MINIMUM PRICES FOR YEAR ENDING 30 SEPTEMBER 1957

Lamb Prime Down Cross, 36 lb. and under 15½d.
Wether mutton Prime 49 to 56 lb. 8¼d.
Ewe mutton Prime 49 to 56 lb. 4½d.
Chilled beef 680 lb. and under
Ox and heifer quarter beef Good average quality, under 800 lb. 9¾d.
Quarter cow beef Good average quality, all weights 8½d.
Boner cow, ox, and heifer All weights 10½d.
Boner bull All weights 10½d. Boned out value
Veal (sides or quarters) Under 280 lb. 9d.
Porkers Prime 60 to 80 lb. 15d.
Baconers Prime 111 to 160 lb. 14d.

Deficiency Payments in Respect of Export Meat
Pursuant to the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the deficiency payments set out in the Schedule hereto may be made to the owners in accordance with that Act for the classes of meat specified in the said Schedule for the week commencing on Monday, the 23rd day of July 1956,
