Unclaimed Lands—Notice by the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act 1908 and its Amendments

To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land containing 24 perches, more or less, situated in the Township of Waihou, being Allotments 44 and 45, Deposited Plan 60, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 32, folio 106 (Auckland Registry), in the name of Ellen Fox, wife of James Fox, of Waikato, in the Provincial District of Auckland, Contractor.

WHEREAS after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described land cannot be found; and whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:

Now the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee her title to the said land, and if she fails or neglects so to do, the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act 1908 (Part II) and its amendments.

Deficiency Payments in Respect of Export Meat

PURSUANT to the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the deficiency payments set out in the Schedule hereto may be made to the owners in accordance with that Act for the classes of meat specified in the said Schedule for the week commencing on Monday, the 16th day of July 1956.

SCHEDULE

Amount of Deficiency Class of Meat Payment Chilled beef 1½d. per pound. Ox and heifer quarter beef 1¼d. per pound. Quarter cow beef ⅞d. per pound.
