Revocation of Appointment and Appointment of Transport Licensing Authority for No. 8 Transport District

PURSUANT to section 87 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes as from the 29th day of July 1956 the appointment of John Arthur Bretherton as the District Licensing Authority for the No. 8 Transport District made by Warrant dated the 8th day of June 1956,* and hereby appoints William Melville Will as District Licensing Authority for the No. 8 Transport District for a term commencing on the 30th day of July 1956 and expiring on the 3rd day of August 1956.

Declaration that Part of the Orakei Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Change of the Purpose of the Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Orakei Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for plunket rooms.
