Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to Raise a Loan

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Northcote taken on the 10th day of December 1955 on the proposal of the Northcote Borough Council to borrow the sum of one hundred and fifteen thousand pounds for the purpose of constructing, surfacing, and kerb-and-channelling streets and footpaths:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 563

The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 66

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
