Appointment of Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the Service of Notices by Telegraph

Pursuant to section 183 of the Post and Telegraph Act 1928, the Minister of Telegraphs hereby declares that the officers whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto are authorised to sign certificates of the service of telegraphic copies of notices for the purposes of sections 179 to 184 of that Act, and hereby appoints those officers to be transmitting officers and receiving officers, at the addresses specified after their names in the Schedule hereto, for the purposes of those sections and of the regulations for the time being in force under that Act relating to the service of notices by telegraph.*

Appointing Ports of Entry for Plants, Seed, and Nursery Stock (Notice No. Ag 6126)

Pursuant to subclause (3) of regulation 8 of the Plant Quarantine Regulations 1952, the Director of the Horticulture Division of the Department of Agriculture hereby appoints the ports of Timaru and New Plymouth as ports of entry for such plants, seed, and nursery stock as may be introduced into New Zealand under the said regulations.

Declaration that the Honikiwi Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Honikiwi Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Southland County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for public purposes to a reserve for a site for a county depot, and further, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland, in trust, for a site for a county depot.
