Land Taken for Road, Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road, and Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Blocks II, VI, and VII, Cape Campbell Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Second Schedule hereto held from Her Majesty the Queen by Charles Frederick Denton, of Grassmere, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 422 (Volume 12, folio 10, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land secondly and thirdly described in the said Second Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Miriam Agnes Jeffries, of Grassmere, Married Woman, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 175 (Volume 41, folio 125, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land fourthly and fifthly described in the said Second Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Milford Taylor, of Ward, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 424 (Volume 12, folio 35, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land sixthly, seventhly, eighthly, ninthly, and tenthly described in the said Second Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Otto Herbert Schwass, of Grassmere, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 391 (Volume 12, folio 5, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land eleventhly described in the said Second Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Graham Ira McNabb, of Ward, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 426 (Volume 12, folio 29, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land twelfthly and thirteenthly described in the said Second Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Bernard James Francis, of Ward, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 392 (Volume 11, folio 141, Marlborough Land Registry), are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and that the Crown land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of June 1956.

All in the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150519 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of June 1956.
