PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 21 May 1956, declared the under-mentioned specification to be a standard specification:

Number and Title of Specification: N.Z.S.S. 1293: ½ per cent molybdenum steel electrodes (covered) for metal-arc welding (12 S.W.G. (3/32 in.) and larger, for hand operation); being B.S. 2493 : 1954.
