Land Taken for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes in Block I, Waimata Survey District, Cook County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation and river-control purposes, and shall vest in the Poverty Bay Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of June 1956.
