Pursuant to section 188 of the Mining Act 1926, I hereby give notice that unless sufficient cause be shown to the contrary within one month from the date hereof the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

Pursuant to section 86 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Nelson and Westland Picture Theatre Employees' Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1750, situated at Wellington, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date of this notice.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to Raise a Loan

Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Onehunga taken on the 10th day of December 1955 on the proposal of the Onehunga Borough Council to borrow the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand pounds for streets and footpaths improvements:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 810. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 449.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
