Town and Country Planning Act 1953—City of Auckland
(Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of refusals and prohibitions made by the Auckland City Council in the interests of the Auckland City district scheme under either subsection (2) of the said section or section 34 of the Town Planning Act 1926 is hereby extended to the 1st day of February 1958 for all such refusals and prohibitions.
Given under the hand of the Minister of Works at Wellington this 9th day of January 1956.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Waipa County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by six sections as follows:
(1) Horotiu section described in the First Schedule hereto.
(2) Hamilton section described in the Second Schedule hereto.
(3) Ohaupo section described in the Third Schedule hereto.
(4) Te Awamutu-Kihikihi section described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.
(5) Pirongia section described in the Fifth Schedule hereto.
(6) The remainder of the county.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WAIPA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME (HOROTIU SECTION)
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waikato River in Block VIII, Newcastle Survey District, in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 82, Suburbs of Newcastle South, and running generally south-easterly up the said left bank to the northern corner of Allotment 106, Parish of Horotiu, in Block XII, Newcastle Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 106, and along a right line, being that boundary produced to the western side of the Great South Road; thence along that side of the said road, to and along the north-western boundary of Allotment 116 of the said parish, crossing the North Island Main Trunk Railway, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 15112, being parts Allotment 123, and along the north-western boundaries of the aforesaid Lot 1 and of Allotments 124, 125, and 127, to the eastern corner of Allotment 129; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of the said Allotment 129, and along a right line across the Te Kowhai-Horotiu Road, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 158, to and along the south-eastern, eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of the land shown on D.P. 7831, being part Allotment 159, to and along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the land shown on D.P. 4083, being part of the said Allotment 159, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 2 and part 1, D.P. 31374, being parts Allotment 159 aforesaid, 159A, 172, 173, 174, and 174A, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 7027, being parts of Allotment 159 aforesaid, 161 and 161A, the said allotments all being of the Parish of Horotiu aforementioned; thence along a right line to and along that north-eastern boundary and along a right line, being that boundary produced, across a public road to the north-western side of that road; thence south-westerly along that north-western side to, and north-westerly along, the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 125A, Suburbs of Newcastle South, to and north-easterly along, the south-eastern side of the public road forming the north-western boundaries of Allotments 160 and 158 of the Suburbs of Newcastle South aforesaid, and crossing the North Island Main Trunk Railway, to the north-eastern side of the Great South Road; thence along that side of the said Great South Road to and along the north-western boundary of Allotment 82 of the said Suburbs, and along a right line, being that boundary produced, to the left bank of the Waikato River, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WAIPA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME (HAMILTON SECTION)
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waikato River in Block IX, Komakorau Survey District, being the southern corner of Lot 3, D.P.S. 1063 (Esplanade Reserve), being part Allotment 4, Parish of Pukete, and running generally south-easterly up that bank of the said river to a point in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, in line with the middle of St. Andrews Terrace; thence north-westerly and then generally south-westerly, southerly, and then easterly along the boundaries of the City of Hamilton as described in Gazette of the 14th day of April 1954, No. 24, page 587, to the intersection of the middle of the Mangakotukutu Stream with the left bank of the Waikato River aforesaid, in Block II, Hamilton Survey District; thence again up the left bank of the said river, to and along the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 34164, being part Allotments 56, 75, 76 and 76A, Te Rapa Parish, along a right line across Peacocks Road to and along the western and south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 34164, being part Allotments 75, 76, and 76A aforementioned, and part Allotments 58, 58A and 74 of the said Te Rapa Parish, along the south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 2 D.P. 35271, being part of the said Allotments 58 and 58A, and part Allotment 57, along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P.S. 72, being part of the said Allotments 57, 58, and 58A and part Allotment 55, along a right line, being that last-mentioned boundary produced, across Halls Road to the south-western side of that road, and along that side of the said road to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 407 in Block VI, Hamilton Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of that last-mentioned allotment to, and southerly along, a right line parallel to, and 250 links distant from, the eastern side of
