A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 3 acres and 10⋅7 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotment 63, Ruakaka Parish.
Situated in Block VI, Ruakaka Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 37535.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146345 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Mangonui County, containing 253 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, and being Section 9, Block VI, Maungataniwha Survey District. As shown on Plan No. 5/71 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 38137.)

ALL that area in Otamatea County, containing 216 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less, being Allotment 167, and Lot 2 on D.P. 31747, being part Allotment 164, Mareretu Parish, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Matakohe Survey District, and Block IV, Waipu Survey District. A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of May 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods 9⋅1 perches.
Being Lots 2 and 3, D.P. S. 1897, being part Block XV, Maramarua Survey District. Formerly balance certificate of title, Volume 1094, folio 37, Auckland Land Registry.
Situated in the Town District of Te Kauwhata.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Waimate to the Purposes of a Street

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Waimate Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of railway land allocated to street: 9 perches.
Being part railway land.
Situated in the Borough of Waimate.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13603 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Investment of £14,600 of Timaru Harbour Board Funds

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Timaru Harbour Board to invest the sum of £4,100 in debentures of the South Canterbury Electric Power Board Electricity Development Loan 1955, out of its Renewal and Reserve Funds, and to invest in debentures of the loans of the Timaru City Council shown in the first column of the Schedule hereto, out of its Renewal and Reserve Funds, the sums shown in the second column of the Schedule hereto.
