WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL
In the matter of the Counties Act 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairarapa South County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and their respective amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely, making a gravel pit; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Wairarapa South County Council, Belvedere Road, Carterton, and also at the offices of Messrs Major, Gooding and Wollerman, Solicitors, Broadway, Carterton, and may be inspected (without fee) at either of those places by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Belvedere Road, Carterton.

ALL those pieces of land in Block XVI, Tiffin Survey District, in the County of Wairarapa South, as the same appear on S.O. Plan 23527.

GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Improvement Loan 1955
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, and of all other powers (if any) vested in it thereunto enabling, the Greytown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and principal on the Greytown Borough Water Supply Improvement Loan of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000) 1955, authorised to be raised by the Greytown Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of effecting improvements to the water supply in the borough, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence three farthings (2·75d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Greytown, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Greytown Borough Council at a duly convened meeting held on Monday, 23 April 1956.

NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY RESOLUTION TO WIND UP
In the matter of the Companies Act 1948, and in the matter of the Auckland Plastering Co. Ltd., in voluntary liquidation, and creditors’ winding up.
TAKE notice that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at 109 College Hill, Ponsonby, Auckland, on 18 April 1956, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily and that Thomas John Lawrence Tucker, Accountant, of 109 College Hill, Ponsonby, be nominated liquidator for the purpose of winding up.”

Creditor’s Voluntary Winding Up
In the matter of the Companies Act 1948, and in the matter of the Auckland Plastering Co. Ltd.
TAKE notice that a meeting of the creditors in the above matter will, in pursuance of section 293 of the above Act, be held at the National Creditmen’s Rooms, T. and G. Building, Wellesley Street West, on 11 May 1956, at 2.15 in the afternoon, for the purposes set out in sections 293, 294, and 295 of the above Act.
Agenda:
- To consider an extraordinary resolution for winding up passed by the above-named company on 18 April 1956.
- To consider a statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of creditors of the company and the estimated amount of their claims.
- To nominate a person to be liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs and distributing the assets of the above-named company.
- To appoint members of a committee of inspection.
NOTE: A member entitled to attend and vote is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him, and that proxy need not also be a member of the company.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Ohakune Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 24th day of February 1955, has resolved to prepare for the Ohakune Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Ohakune Borough District Scheme”, should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 16th day of July 1956.
