Revoking a Proclamation Setting Land Apart for Mining Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Mining Act 1926, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 18 November 1878 and published in Gazette, 21 November 1878, page 1615, setting apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for mining purposes exclusively.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—TUAPEKA COUNTY

SECTIONS 56, 57, and 58, Block X, Sections 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, Block XIII, and parts of Blocks IX, X, XII, and XIII, Tuapeka Survey District: Area, 5,000 acres, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Mines 6/4/18 deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plans 1766, 1773, 10997.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1956.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block VIII, Heretaunga Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of April 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 3 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 6418, being part of Awatoto Suburban Section 9.

Situated in Block VIII, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of March 1956.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.
