Provided that during the period 1 July to 29 July (both days inclusive) Canada goose may be shot during the hours of 6.30 a.m. to midnight in that portion of Lake Ellesmere and on that portion of the lake’s margin which lies east of a straight line drawn from the mouth of the Selwyn River to the south-western corner of the lake in the vicinity of Taumutu.

Special Condition
A licence issued pursuant to this notification to hunt or kill game shall entitle the holder thereof to hunt or kill game on that portion of the Rakaia river bed and river bank which lies within the Ashburton Acclimatisation District during the period and subject, mutatis mutandis, to the conditions prescribed in the notification fixing the open season for that district.

All situated in Block XIV, Rangiora Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.
(20) Lake Constance, namely, all that area in the Canterbury Land District, Selwyn County, containing 50 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 5934, and being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 3317, situated in Block VII, Fighting Hill Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.
