Provided, further, that with respect to all wheat sold in lots of one sack or more during the months of January, February, or March,
and with respect to wheat sold at Dunedin and Invercargill during the month of April, the maximum price shall not exceed the sum of
the appropriate price set out hereunder, and such increase as may be appropriate under the provisions of paragraph (d) of this clause.

(2) The maximum prices fixed in the table to subclause (1) hereof are fixed for sales made on the basis of sacks included and where
sales are made on the basis of sacks extra the said prices shall be reduced by 5d. per bushel.

(3) Where delivery is effected by a distributor from a store situated elsewhere than on a railway siding at one of the places mentioned
in the table to subclause (1) hereof he may add to the appropriate price fixed by the foregoing provisions of this clause the actual cartage
charges incurred by him in obtaining delivery of the wheat into that store.

Retailers’ Prices

  1. The maximum price that may be charged or received by any retailer for any wheat to which this order applies shall be the sum of
    the following amounts:

(a) The cost of the wheat to the retailer at the point at which he takes delivery but not more in any case than the cost that would
have been incurred had the retailer purchased the wheat in lots of $\frac{1}{2}$ ton or more;

(b) The amount of any transport charges incurred by the retailer in obtaining delivery of the wheat into his store, being not more
in any case than the charges that would have been incurred had delivery been effected at common carrier rates;

(c) An amount calculated at the rate per bushel as follows:

(i) For wheat sold in sack lots: 1s. 3d. per bushel.
(ii) For wheat sold in lots of $\frac{1}{2}$ bushel or more but less than one sack: 2s. per bushel.
(iii) For wheat sold in lots of less than $\frac{1}{2}$ bushel: 2s. 9d. per bushel.

  1. Where the prices fixed by this order do not include the price of the sacks, an additional charge may be made for the sacks not
    exceeding—

For 41 in. by 23 in. sacks
For 29 in. by 18 in. (sugar-bags)

  1. Subject to such conditions if any, as it thinks fit, the Tribunal on application by any distributor or retailer may authorise special
    prices in respect of any wheat to which this order applies where special circumstances exist or for any reason extraordinary charges
    (freight or otherwise) are incurred. Any authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or
    consignment of wheat or may relate generally to all wheat to which this order applies, sold by the distributor or retailer while the approval
    remains in force.

Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1955, Amendment
No. 3

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price
Tribunal hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1955, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read
    together with and deemed part of the Control of Prices
    (Positive List) Notice 1955* (hereinafter referred to as the
    principal notice).

  2. This notice shall come into force on the 2nd day of
    March 1956.

  3. The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of
    the goods and services set out in the Schedule hereto.

  4. The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended
    by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the
    goods and services referred to in the Schedule hereto in
    respect of which, pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal
    notice no longer applies.

Dresses, frocks, and gowns, of wool or containing wool—
women's.

Drill and denim clothing of the following kinds:

Men's—
Bib overalls.
Denim trousers.

Combination overalls.
Gaberdine overcoats and gaberdine raincoats—women's.

Hosiery of the following kinds:

Maids' sockettes, anklets, and footlets.

Knitwear of the following kinds:

Frocks of wool or containing wool—women's.

Hardware of the following kinds:

Builders', Plumbers', and Electricians' Hardware—
Sink bench tops and sink bench units, metal, plastic, or
wood.

Hand and Edge Tools—
Crowbars.
Mauls.
Snips.

Soldering irons.

Machinery of the following kinds:

Motors, electric, 3 h.p. and under, and motor starters and
controllers.

Rubber Goods of the following kinds:

Tire-repair materials excepting camelback.

Miscellaneous—

Linseed oil, linseed oil cake meal, and linseed oil cake
meal nuts.
