Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of February 1955.

Situated in Block II, Clive Survey District, Hawke's Bay R.D. (S.O. 2803.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145596 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 32·8 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 7222, being part West Clive Suburban Section 20, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 115, folio 33, Hawke's Bay Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of February 1955.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 11 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for agricultural purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of February 1955.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 27·3 perches.
Being part Rural Section 917.
Situated in the Borough of Rangiora, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8771.)
