PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Paparua County Council at its meeting held on the 14th day of November 1955 has resolved to prepare for that part of the Paparua County described in the Schedule to this notice a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposal which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Paparua District Scheme—Christchurch Metropolitan Section” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk’s office on or before the 31st day of January 1956.

SCHEDULE

CHRISTCHURCH Metropolitan Section, comprising that portion of the County within the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority’s Extended Area, which includes the Ridings of Sockburn, Hornby, Islington, Yaldhurst, Prebbleton, and part of the Templeton Riding.

HELENSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Helensville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000) authorized to be raised by the Helensville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of two sections of land in Rimu Street, Helensville, and the erection thereon of two staff houses, the said Helensville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine sixty-fourths pence (9/64d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Helensville comprising the whole of the Borough of Helensville; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
