Road Closed by Order of the Maori Land Court

PURSUANT to section 489 of the Maori Land Act 1931, 1953 declaring the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a closed road and vesting it in the owners of the Kaitara No. 2A 1a Block.

This notice is in substitution for the notice given on the 30th day of August 1955 and published in the Gazette, 8 September 1955, page 1413, No. 57, and that notice is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

ALL those areas of public road in the Otamatea County in the North Auckland Land District situated in Block VI, Otamatea Survey District, being firstly, that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 34·4 perches, more or less, being formerly portion of Kaitara No. 2 Block, and now adjoining portions of Kaitara No. 2 Block, and secondly, that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 0·4 perches, more or less, being formerly portion of Kaitara No. 2 Block, and now adjoining portions of Kaitara No. 2A 1 Block, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered M.L. 13777 deposited in the office of the Chief Survey at Auckland and thereon coloured green.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Taihape Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 23 March 1950 and published in the Gazette, 30 March 1950, Volume I, page 355.
