Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1955,
Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1955, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1955* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

  2. This notice shall come into force on the 25th day of November 1955.

  3. The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of the goods and services set out in the Schedule hereto.

  4. The principal notice is hereby consequently amended by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the goods and services referred to in the Schedule hereto in respect of which, pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer applies.

Boundaries of City of New Plymouth, County of Taranaki, and Omata Riding of County of Taranaki Redefined

Pursuant to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines as set out in the Schedule hereto the boundaries of the City of New Plymouth, the County of Taranaki, and the Omata Riding of the County of Taranaki, the previous boundaries having been altered by an Order in Council dated 8 August 1955 and published in the Gazette, 11 August 1955, No. 52, page 1258.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF CITY OF NEW PLYMOUTH

All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at Paritutu Trig. Station and proceeding westerly along the production of a right line from Peg XIII on Plan 1036 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at New Plymouth to the sea coast; thence easterly along the sea coast to the mouth of the Waiwakaiho River; thence up the left bank of the Waiwakaiho River to the south-eastern corner of original Section 88, Fitzroy District; thence along the south-eastern boundary of part Section 88 aforesaid to the Mangorei Road; thence in the same line across the said road and along the south-eastern boundaries of other part of said Section 88, Sections 196, 87, and Maori Reserve No. 22, all in Fitzroy District, to the Henui Stream; thence across that stream and generally southerly along its left bank to the southern side of Smith Road; thence south-westerly along the southern side of the said road to its junction with a public road unnamed; thence along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 53, Grey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 53 to Coronation Avenue; thence along the eastern side of Coronation Avenue and the south-eastern side of Tarahua Road to Carrington Road; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of Carrington Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of original Section 61,
