Appointments, Confirmation of Appointments, Promotions,
Extensions of Commissions, Transfers, Cancellations, and
Terminations of Commissions of Officers of the Royal New
Zealand Air Force.

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air
Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General
has been pleased to approve the following appointments,
confirmation of appointments, promotions, extensions of commis-
sions, transfers, cancellations, and terminations of commissions
of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Cancellations of Commissions

The commissions of the undermentioned Acting Pilot
Officers are cancelled with effect from the dates shown:
Owen Livingstone LOCKERBIE (823458). 12 September 1955.
Christopher Barrie ATKINSON (821903). 16 September
1955.

TECHNICAL BRANCH
Appointment

Signals Division
Warrant Officer Noel Douglas DUNLOP (70481) is granted
a permanent commission in the Technical Branch (Signals
Division), Regular Air Force, with the rank of Flying Officer
and with seniority as from 15 August 1955. Dated 9 Septem-
ber 1955.

TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Extensions of Commissions

The undermentioned Flying Officers are granted extensions
of their present commissions for a period of one year with
effect from 1 September 1955:

Alexander Logan GOODLEY (130795).

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH
Appointment

Special Duties Division
James Denis IRELAND (133985) is granted a commission in
the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Divi-
sion), Territorial Air Force, for a period of five years with
the rank of Flying Officer, temporary Flight Lieutenant, and
with seniority as from 25 January 1955, to be followed by
a period of four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers.
Dated 25 August 1955.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS
Appointments

The undermentioned are granted commissions in the
Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division),
Reserve of Air Force Officers, for a period of four years with
the rank of Acting Pilot Officer and with seniority as from
date of appointment, with effect from the dates shown:
Robert Ross MANNING, M.B., Ch.B. (134061). 3 December
1954.
Leslie Herbert STEVENS, B.Sc., M.B., Ch.B. (134076). 10
August 1955.

Confirmation of Appointments, Promotions, and Transfers

The undermentioned Acting Pilot Officers are confirmed in
their appointments, promoted to the rank of Flying Officer,
and transferred from the Administrative and Supply Branch
(Special Duties Division) to the Medical Branch, all with
effect from the dates shown:
William George FLUX, M.B., Ch.B. (133897). 15 December
1954.
Robert Ross MANNING, M.B., Ch.B. (134061). 15 December
1954.
Leslie Herbert STEVENS, B.Sc., M.B., Ch.B. (134076). 11
August 1955.

Transfers

Flying Officer Arthur Aran HOFFMAN, A.R.A.N.Z. (133048),
is transferred from the General Duties Branch to the Adminis-
trative and Supply Branch (Secretarial Division), with his
present rank and seniority, with effect from 20 January 1955.
Flying Officer Thomas Michael Le MESURIER, M.A.
(133831), is transferred from the General Duties Branch,
Territorial Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers
for a period of four years, with effect from 10 September
1955.

Terminations of Commissions

The commissions of the undermentioned officers are ter-
minated with effect from the dates shown:
Flight Lieutenant Norman Johnathon INGRAM, D.F.C.,
D.F.M. (73500). 13 June 1955.
Flying Officer Douglas FAIRBAIRN (4211901). 14 February
1949.
Flying Officer Graham Charles PETTERSON (72499). 28
June 1955.

PURSUANT to section 56 of the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928,

to be a member of the Macraes Rabbit Board, vice Donald
George Innes, resigned, as from the 3rd day of October 1955.

4 of the Potato Growing Industry Act 1950, His Excel-

Allan Renfrew Simm, Esquire (on the nomination of the
New Zealand Grain, Seed, and Produce Merchants
Federation, Incorporated),
to be a member of the Potato Board established under the
said Act.

lation 3 of the Honey Marketing Authority Regulations
1953, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to appoint
Edward Armine Field, Esquire,
William Thorupson Herron, Esquire,
William Wallace Nelson, Esquire, and
Thomas Edward Pearson, Esquire,
to be members of, and producers’ representatives on, the New
Zealand Honey Marketing Authority, established under the
said regulations, as from the 10th day of October 1955.

to be a member of the New Plymouth Port Conciliation Com-
mittee for a term expiring on the 31st day of March 1956,
vice Kenneth Foster Maine.
