Declaring the Purakauiti Domain to be a Recreation Reserve
Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Purakauiti
Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be
subject to Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953,
and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to
Part II of that Act.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

SECTIONS 53 and 1429B, Block VII, Woodland Survey Dis-
trict: Area, 17 acres and 27 perches, more or less. (S.O.

Citizens of the Borough of Ashburton, in trust, for that
purpose.

Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the
Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of
Paparua, and changes the purpose of the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a gravel pit to a reserve
for river protection purposes.
