Easement Taken Over Land in Block II, Clive Survey District, for an Automatic Telephone Exchange

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement for an automatic telephone exchange is hereby taken over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to take water from a well situated on the said land, and for that purpose to carry out any works that are deemed necessary by Her Majesty the Queen to provide an unpolluted and adequate supply of water to the land in Proclamation No. 123412 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry), and secondly, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to convey water from the said well along, under, or over the said land, and for that purpose to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of pipes along, under, or over the said land, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land in the said Proclamation No. 123412; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of September 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which the above-described easement is taken: 33·62 perches.
