Pursuant to section 16 of the New Zealand Army Act
1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been
pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions,
transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of
the New Zealand Army:
N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF
With reference to the notice published in the N.Z. Gazette,
Volume III of 1945, page 1546, relative to temp. Lieutenant
A. T. Slater, for ‘is posted to the Retired List’, substitute
‘is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Supplementary
List’.

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) A. P. Todd
is confirmed.

Captain (temp. Major) R. H. Nairn, E.D., from the Canterbury Regiment, to be Captain (temp. Major), with seniority
as Captain, 1 October 1951, and as temp. Major, 18 October

The Northland Regiment
Captain P. Skelley, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the

Captain (temp. Major) G. D. Madden, 1st Battalion, relinquishes the temporary rank of Major, and is transferred to
the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, The Wellington
West Coast and Taranaki Regiment, with the rank of Captain, with seniority from 27 September 1952. Dated 23 June

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) H. B. Fraser-Tytler, M.B.E.,
1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General

General List, The Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps, with the
