Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not
Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928,
the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described
in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 9th day of April
1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land:
3 acres and 14 perches.

(H.D.P.N. 43101) deposited in the office of the Minister of

Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be
Crown Land, Subject to the Said Rights, and Revoking
Previous Notice as to Part

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister
of Works hereby revokes the notice dated 24 May 1955
and published in Gazette, 26 May 1955, No. 36, page 859,
declaring land taken, subject as to part to certain rights, for
a Government work and not required for that purpose to be
Crown land subject to the said rights, as to the land lastly
described in the said notice and, pursuant to section 35 of the
Public Works Act 1928, hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the storm-
water and other rights granted by Memorandum of Transfer
No. 370173, Wellington Land Registry, as from the 28th day
of October 1954.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIII, Kaeo Survey
District, for the Purposes of a State Forest

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a
State forest; and notice is hereby further given that the plan
of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post
office at Kaeo and is there open for inspection; and that all
persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they
have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the land,
set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken:
80 acres.

Being Allotments 131 and N.W. 132, Parish of Pupuke.
Situated in Block XIII, Kaeo Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more

PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on and
from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to
the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
