Price Order No. 1681 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 1616)
(Eggs) South Island, Excluding Nelson Egg Marketing Area and
Blenheim and Picton Districts

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal
hereby makes the following amending Price Order:

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1681, and shall be
read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1616* (here-
inafter referred to as the principal Order).
This Order shall come into force on the 15th day of August
The principal Order is hereby amended by revoking clauses 7
and 8 thereof, and substituting the following clauses:

“FIXING MAXIMUM PRICES OF EGGS TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES
“Wholesale Prices

“7. (1) The maximum price that may be charged or received by
any wholesaler (including a producer selling otherwise than by way
of retail) for any eggs to which this Order applies, shall be—

	Westland District (Per Dozen) (Fresh)	Elsewhere in South Island Excluding Nelson Egg Marketing Area and Blenheim and Picton Districts (Per Dozen) (Fresh)

“(2) Every wholesaler (including a producer selling otherwise than
by way of retail) who sells any eggs to which this Order applies shall
specify in the relevant invoices with respect to each item the classifi-
cation of the eggs comprised in the item.

“8. The maximum price that may be charged or received by any
retailer for any eggs to which this Order applies shall be—
