Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Canterbury Land District

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation for a reserve for preservation of a water spring over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

“Bulk Loading Elevator” Vehicles Exempted from Annual Licence Fees

PURSUANT to paragraph (n) of the First Schedule to the Motor Vehicles (Licensing Fees Exemption) Regulations 1948,* any motor vehicle designed and used on the road exclusively for carrying a bulk loading elevator shall be exempt from the payment of annual licence fees under Part II of the Transport Act 1949.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ruatoria, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the public work or to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to Take Land and Easements Over Land in Block II, Waiapu Survey District, for a Gravel Pit

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for a gravel pit and to take easements for a gravel pit over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use rights of way, with the right for Her Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said rights of way for the purpose of providing access to the said gravel pit, such rights of way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the land and easements so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Opotiki and are there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land and easements should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land and easements set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
