Hop Marketing Committee Election (Notice No. Ag. 5929)

PURSUANT to clause 11 of the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of five producers’ representatives to the Hop Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz., Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, and at Nelson; also at the following post offices, viz., Motueka, Upper Moutere, Wakefield, and Nelson.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of seven days from 21 July 1955.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices, or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Nelson. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 10th day of August 1955.

Honey Marketing Authority Election (Notice No. Ag. 5927)

PURSUANT to clause (13) of the Schedule to the Honey Marketing Authority Regulations 1953, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons deemed eligible to vote for the election of four producers’ representatives to the Honey Marketing Authority, together with the number of votes allotted to each voter, will be open for inspection during official hours at the following places, viz., Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, and at Auckland; also at the following post offices: Kaikohe, Dargaville, Kaitaia, Whangarei, Warkworth, Huntly, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Te Aroha, Whakatane, Gisborne, Napier, Hastings, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Levin, Masterton, Blenheim, Nelson, Motueka, Kaikoura, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Christchurch, Ashburton, Geraldine, Timaru, Waimate, Oamaru, Roxburgh, Dunedin, Balclutha, Gore, and Invercargill.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of fourteen days from 27 July 1955.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices, or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Private Bag, Auckland C.1. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 17th day of August 1955 and must be accompanied by a deposit of £3.

Notice Under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953

PURSUANT to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that lists of unclaimed moneys dated the 14th day of June 1955 and the 15th day of June 1955, derived from the Tokerau Maori Land Court District and held by him, have been filed in the Office of the Registrar of the Maori Land Court at Auckland, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, and Wellington, and at all sub-offices of the Department of Maori Affairs, where the same may be inspected during office hours without payment of fee.
