Road Closed by Order of the Maori Land Court
NOTICE is hereby given that the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto has been declared closed and vested in the owners of the Punakitere 2A 2 Block by an Order of the Maori Land Court made at Kawakawa on 14 October 1953, pursuant to section 489 of the Maori Land Act 1931.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of public road in the North Auckland Land District and in the Bay of Islands County, containing 0·6 perch, more or less, being formerly portion of the Punakitere 2 Block and now adjoining Punakitere 2A 2 and 2B 3B Blocks, situated in Block II, Punakitere Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered M.L. 13623, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon coloured green.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Tikitere Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 29 May 1933 and published in the Gazette, 22 June 1933, Volume II, page 1657.

Cancellation of Teacher’s Certificate and Registration as a Teacher
PURSUANT to section 17 of the Education Amendment Act 1924, the teacher’s certificate and registration as a teacher of James Christopher Vallance are cancelled.

Classification of Roads in Hokianga County
PURSUANT to subclauses (7) and (11) of regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955, the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes those portions of the Warrant, dated the 27th day of April 1951,* classifying roads in Hokianga County, in so far as they apply to roads described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Hokianga County Council’s proposed classification, and proposed variation in the classification, of roads as set out in the Schedule hereto and situated in Hokianga County.

Classification of Streets in the Borough of Putaruru
PURSUANT to subclause (7) of regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955, the Commissioner of Transport, with the concurrence of the Putaruru Borough Council, hereby alters the said Council’s proposed classification of streets described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Borough of Putaruru, and hereby approves such altered classification as described in the said Schedule.
