Consent to the Establishment and Maintenance of an Aerodrome by the Alexandra Borough Council and the Vincent County Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Alexandra Aerodrome Establishment Order 1955.
  2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance by the Alexandra Borough Council and the Vincent County Council of an aerodrome on that area of land commonly known as the Alexandra Aerodrome.
  3. The Order in Council consenting to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Alexandra Borough Council published in the Gazette of the 8th day of December 1949, at page 2780, is hereby revoked.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Hood Aerodrome Establishment Order 1955.
  2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Masterton County Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto and known as the Hood Aerodrome.

SCHEDULE
SECTIONS 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and part of Section 14, Manaia Block VIII, Tiffin Survey District, containing approximately 260 acres.

  1. This order may be cited as the Dargaville Aerodrome Establishment Order 1955.
  2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance by the Hobson County Council of an aerodrome on that area of land at Parore in the Hobson County known as the Dargaville Aerodrome.

PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Dipton Rabbit District Order 1955.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Dipton Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 4th day of December 1946,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE DIPTON RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of land in the Southland Land District, Southland County, inclusive of roads, streams, and railways, containing by estimation 49,810 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the left bank of the Oreti River in line with the southern side of Orion Street in the Town of Lumsden; thence easterly across Pomona Terrace and along the southern side of the said Orion Street to a point in line with the southern side of Lydia Street; thence north-easterly to and along the southern side of the said Lydia Street to Flora Road; thence south-easterly, easterly, and again south-easterly generally along the southern side of Flora Road aforesaid, and along the southern side of the Lumsden-Longridge North Road to the left bank of the Waimea Stream; thence south-easterly generally along the left bank of the said Waimea Stream to its intersection with the southern side of the Waimea Plains Branch Railway Reserve; thence south-easterly along the southern side of the said Waimea Plains Branch Railway Reserve to and across the Gore-Lumsden State Highway, to a point in line with the southern side of the Glenure-Balfour Road; thence south-westerly generally to and along the south-eastern side of the said Glenure-Balfour Road to the north-eastern boundary of Section 939, Block XXVI, Hokonui Survey District; thence south-easterly and north-westerly along the north-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 939 aforesaid to and across a public road; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the said public road passing through Section 354, Block XXVI, Hokonui Survey District; Sections 670 and 405 and forming the north-western boundary of Section 143, Block XXV, Hokonui Survey District, intersecting Section 484, forming the north-western boundary of Section 795, and passing through the western corner of Section 795 and through the northern part of Section 334, Block XXXV, Hokonui Survey District, to the right bank of the Winton Creek; thence south-westerly generally along the right bank of the said Winton Creek to Matthew Road; thence south-westerly and north-westerly generally along the northern side of the said Matthew Road to the Queenstown-Invercargill State Highway; thence north-easterly along the eastern side of the said Queenstown-Invercargill State Highway to a point in line with the northern side of a public road forming the northern boundary of Part Lot 73, on plan numbered 35 and deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Invercargill; thence north-westerly across the said Queenstown-Invercargill State Highway to and along the northern side of the aforesaid public road and that line produced to the left bank of the Oreti River; thence northerly generally along the left bank of the said Oreti River to the point of commencement.
