RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Stratford Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
‘‘That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £25,000 authorized to be raised by the Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act as the Stratford Borough Council Electrical Works Extension Loan of £25,000, 1954, the Stratford Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-eighths of a penny (⅞d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Stratford; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’’
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed at a special meeting of the Stratford Borough Council held on Monday, the 16th day of May 1955.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 3, 1954, £8,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act 1951, the Counties Act 1920, and all other Acts and powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Stratford County Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on the Stratford County Rural Housing Loan No. 3, 1954, £8,000, to be raised by the Stratford County Council, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½ penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Stratford; and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 8th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Stratford was hereunto affixed this 20th day of May 1955 by B. Hutchen and L. C. Harrison, Members of the said Council, in the presence of T. A. Jones, County Clerk.
