Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation for the use of the Provincial Government and other public purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 160, situated in Block IV, Okains Survey District; Area, 10 acres, more or less. All Deeds Conveyance 12692 (Deeds C.3460). (S.O. Plan 3091L, Black Maps 37 and 120.)

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Regional Planning Scheme for Christchurch

WHEREAS the Councils whose names are set out in the First Schedule hereto, being Councils having jurisdiction over adjacent districts, have resolved to unite for the purpose of preparing a regional planning scheme for the areas within their several jurisdictions as defined in the Second Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 7 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that approval has been given to the resolutions of the Councils whose names are set out in the First Schedule hereto, being Councils having jurisdiction over adjacent districts, to unite for the purpose of preparing a regional planning scheme for the area within their several jurisdictions defined in the Second Schedule hereto:

And pursuant to section 14 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby also given that the Christchurch City Council shall be the Principal Council for the purposes of the preparation of the regional planning scheme and for matters incidental thereto, and for the proper exercise and fulfilment of the powers and duties of the regional planning authority.

Riccarton Borough Council.
Halswell County Council.
Heathcote County Council.
Paparua County Council.
Waimairi County Council.


SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land including the City of Christchurch, the Borough of Riccarton, the whole of the Counties of Heathcote and Waimairi, that part of Paparua County lying within the Christchurch Urban Area as defined by Census and Statistics Department at the time of the 1951 Census, and that part of Halswell County lying within the Christchurch Urban Area as defined by Census and Statistics Department at the time of the 1951 Census, plus that part running south from Cashmere Road and which was included in the Christchurch Urban Area as defined by Census and Statistics Department prior to the 1951 Census.

Notice of Intention to Take an Easement Over Land in City of Wellington, for Post and Telegraph Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take easement over the land described in the Schedule hereto, post and telegraph purposes, vesting in Her Majesty Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees from time to time, and at all times hereafter, to pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals vehicles over the land described in the said Schedule, and maintain, repair and keep open the said right-of-way for the purposes of providing access to the land taken for post and telegraph purposes described in Proclamation No. 40 Wellington Land Registry; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land over which an easement is required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Johnsonville and there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by taking of the said easement should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such easement, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is required to be taken: 4·24 perches.

Being part Lot 3, D.P. 6130, of Subdivision 1A, being part Section 8, Porirua District.

Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 21735 In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 1291: deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured orange.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and No Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 2nd day of June 1954.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 12 acres and 24·6 perches.

Being part Lot 6, D.P. 5041, being part Allotment 33 Pukete Parish, and being the whole of the land in Proclamation No. 12624, Auckland Land Registry.

Situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, City of Hamilton, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 34248.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 12871: deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured yellow.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 13th day of June 1955.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 2 roods 4·56 perches.

Being Lots 1 and 30, D.P. 2194, being part Section 207, Kaikoura Suburban, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 50, folio 258, Marlborough Land Registry.
