PURSUANT to the Medical Research Council Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, has been pleased to reappoint

George Douglas Robb, M.D., Ch.M.(N.Z.), F.R.C.S.(Eng.), F.R.A.C.S., being a person nominated by the New Zealand Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons;

and

Lyndon Bastings, B.A., D.Sc.(N.Z.), M.Sc.(Cantab.), F.R.S.N.Z., F.Inst.P., being a person nominated by the Royal Society of New Zealand as being distinguished in scientific research,

to be members of the Medical Research Council under the Medical Research Council Act 1950.

Redefining the Managutawhiri-Pokono Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area (Notice No. Ag. 5881)

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1947, the Minister of Agriculture, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, hereby declares such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purpose of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule; and hereby further declares that this notice shall take effect on the 1st day of June 1955.

SCHEDULE

MANGATUAWHIRI-POKONO BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA

ALL that area of land lying within the Counties of Franklin and Waikato and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Maramarua River joins the Waikato River; thence following the Maramarua River upstream to the point where it meets the boundary between Sections 41 and 42, Block IIL, Maramarua Survey District; thence in a straight line to the south-east corner of Block IV, Maramarua Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the Puketoka Trig. Station No. 1530; thence continuing in a straight line in a south-easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of Section 24, Block VI, Piako Survey District, on the boundary of the Waikato County; thence following the eastern boundary of the Waikato County in a northerly direction to the point where it meets the sea coast at the mouth of the Miranda Stream; thence continuing along the sea coast in a northerly direction to the mouth of the Waihopuhopu Stream; thence in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to the north-eastern corner of Block IV, Opaheke Survey District; thence continuing in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Block IV to the north-west corner of the said Block IV; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of Blocks IV, VIII, and XII, Opaheke Survey District, to Trig. 1004; thence in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to the eastern corner of Section 92, Block XIV, Opaheke Survey District; thence continuing the straight line across country to
