Declaring Portion of Road (Awakeri Farm Settlement Road) in the Whakatane County to be County Road

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road (Awakeri Farm Settlement Road) in the Whakatane County, South Auckland Land District, situated in Block IV, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, commencing on the eastern side of a public road at the westernmost corner of Allotment 168, Rangitaiki Parish, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 2327·6 links, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146452 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street Off Main North Road in the City of Christchurch, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 146487 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
