(1) Sandringham Route
(a) Lines for one-way traffic commencing at the intersection
of Wellesley Street East with Upper Queen Street and pro-
ceeding in a southerly direction generally via Upper Queen
Street (in addition to the one-way traffic lines of the Ponsonby
Road route on the opposite side of the street) and south-
easterly via Wakefield Street to its intersection with Symonds
Street.
(b) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the junction
of New North Road and Dominion Road and proceeding
south-westerly along New North Road, then southerly generally
along Sandringham Road, north-westerly along Mount Albert
Road, and westerly along Owairaka Avenue to its junction
with Hallam Street.
(c) Lines for one-way traffic commencing at the junction of
Owairaka Avenue with Hallam Street and continuing as a
turning loop westerly via Owairaka Avenue, south-easterly via
Richardson Road, north-easterly via Hendon Avenue, and north-
westerly via Hallam Street to its junction with Owairaka
Avenue.
(d) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the junction of
Sandringham Road with Mount Albert Road and proceeding
thence southerly via the Sandringham Road extension to Stod-
dard Road, including a turning circle at its intersection with
Farrelly Avenue.
(e) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the intersec-
tion of Richardson Road and Hendon Avenue and proceeding
in a south-easterly direction via Stoddard Road to a point
near the western boundary of the licenseeβs land comprising
the May Road Depot.
(f) Lines for one-way traffic commencing at the point men-
tioned in subparagraph (e) above and proceeding south-
easterly along Stoddard Road to a turning circle situated
partly on the licenseeβs land on the south-western corner of
the intersection of Stoddard Road and Denbigh Avenue with
May Road.
The aforesaid lines being more particularly delineated by
means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 324 deposited
in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at
Wellington.
(2) Avondale Route
(a) Lines for one-way traffic commencing at the intersection
of Queen Street and Victoria Street East, and proceeding in
an easterly direction via Victoria Street East to Kitchener
Street (in addition to the one-way traffic lines of the Ponsonby
Road route on the opposite side of the street).
(b) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the intersection
of Victoria Street East and Kitchener Street and proceeding
generally in an easterly direction along Bowen Avenue and
Waterloo Quadrant to its intersection with Lower Symonds
Street and Anzac Avenue.
(c) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the intersection
of New North Road and Sandringham Road and proceeding
south-westerly generally along New North Road to its inter-
section with Blockhouse Bay Road, thence northerly via Block-
house Bay Road and westerly via Rosebank Road to a turning
circle located on the eastern side of its intersection with
Great North Road.
(d) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the intersection
of Richardson Road with New North Road and proceeding
south-easterly via Richardson Road to its intersection with
Owairaka Avenue.
(e) Lines for one-way traffic commencing at the intersection
of Owairaka Avenue with Richardson Road and proceeding
in a south-easterly direction via Richardson Road to its inter-
section with Hendon Avenue.
The aforesaid lines being more particularly delineated by
means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 323 deposited
in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at
Wellington.

URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the
assignment to Denis Bernard Langer, of Matawai, Sheepfarmer,
by Andrew Picken, of Matawai, Sheepfarmer, of his rights,
powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the
21st day of June 1944 and published in the New Zealand
Gazette on the 29th day of the same month at page 830, autho-
rizing him to use water for the purpose of generating
electricity, as amended by the Order in Council dated the
21st day of September 1949, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette on the 22nd day of the same month at page 2347.

Authorizing the Otago Central Electric Power Board to Erect
and Use Electric Lines and to Construct Electric Works
Within Part of the Maniototo County

URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Otago Central
Electric Power Board (hereinafter with its successors and
assigns referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions
hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use
electric lines within the area of supply described in the
Schedule hereto, and further, for the purposes of section 76
of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said
conditions, hereby authorizes the licensee to construct electric
works within the said area of supply.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall
form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the
Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference
Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made
in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in para-
graphs (a), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the
Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined,
continue in force until the 30th day of June 1966.
SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
ALL that area, being portion of the County of Maniototo,
added to the outer area of the Otago Central Electric Power
District by the Proclamation dated the 11th day of August
1954 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 19th
day of the same month at page 1328.

Union of Borough of Mount Wellington and Road District of
Panmure Township

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

HEREAS, pursuant to section 15 of the Local Govern-
ment Commission Act 1953, the Panmure Township
Road Board requested the Local Government Commission to
consider a proposal that a reorganization scheme should be
prepared to provide for certain alterations to the boundaries
of the Borough of Mount Wellington and the Road District
of Panmure Township:
And whereas the Local Government Commission has also
considered a further proposal for the union of the two
districts:
And whereas, pursuant to the Local Government Commission
Act 1953, the Local Government Commission has approved as
final a scheme bearing date the 13th day of January 1955
providing, firstly, for the union of the Borough of Mount
Wellington and the Road District of Panmure Township and,
secondly, for two members of the Panmure Township Road
Board, chosen by the Board, to be councillors of the united
Borough of Mount Wellington, and thirdly, for the area
described in the Schedule to the said scheme to be included in
the Borough of Mount Wellington:
And whereas at a poll of the electors of the Road District
of Panmure Township taken pursuant to section 22 of the
said Act the valid votes recorded against the proposal that
the said road district should be united with the Borough of
Mount Wellington were less than sixty per cent of the total
valid votes recorded at that poll:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to give effect to the
final scheme as hereinafter appearing:
