Declaring Land Vested in the Crown to be Free from Samoan Title

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 282 of the Samoa Act 1921, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being vested in the Crown, to be free from Samoan title.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces or parcels of land containing together an area of seventy-five acres (75 acres), more or less, situated at Tanumapua in the District of Tuamasaga, described as Parcels 156/4 and 188/4, the latter being a subdivision of Parcel 155/4, all in Flur X, Upolu, being part of the land at present registered in Volume 2, folio 290, of the Land Register of Western Samoa, and more particularly delineated on Plans 14U/XL and 27U/XS deposited at the office of the Chief Surveyor at Apia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of May 1955.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Kawhia and Waitomo Counties, containing by admeasurement 4,859 acres and 31 perches, more or less, being Section 2, Block XIV, Kawhia South Survey District, and part of Section 9, Block II, Maungamangero Survey District. As shown on plan No. 35/14 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 12806 (1, 2, and 4), 27842, 36758.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 9, Block II, on D.P. 28, Town of Midhirst East, being part Section 3, Block XIII, Huiroa Survey District; and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 80, folio 292, Taranaki Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of May 1955.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 acre 3 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 7798, Block IX, Arnold Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1, folio 296, Westland Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of May 1955.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 8, Block VIII, Township of Collingwood, on D.P. 47, being also part Section 2, Block XV, Invercargill Hundred, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 160, folio 181, Southland Registry.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 8·3 perches, more or less, being Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 2647, being parts Allotments 15, 16, and 17, Block VI, D.P. 444, Belleknowes Estate, being part Sections 84 and 85, Block VI, Town District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 192, folio 104, Otago Registry.
