Amending Notice Relating to Open Season for Game in the
Waitaki Acclimatization District

PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of
Internal Affairs hereby further amends the notice published
in the Gazette, 28 February 1955, No. 14, page 309,
as amended by the notice published in the Gazette, 17 March
1955, No. 20, page 404, as follows:

By adding to that part of the Second Schedule ("Closed
Game Areas") which relates to the Waitaki Acclimatization
District, the following:

"(2) Land comprised in the Kuriheka Trust, being all those
parcels of land containing together an area of 490 acres,
more or less, being parts of Section 4, Block 7, Otepopo
Survey District, parts of Sections 7 and 9, Block 8, Oamaru
Survey District, and parts of Sections 47 and 49; Block 1,
Kauroo Survey District, and being all land described in
certificate of title, Volume 241, folio 242; also those parcels
of land containing 69 acres 2 roods 18 poles, more or less,
being part of Section 53, Block 8, Oamaru Survey District,
and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 241,
folio 270."

Extraordinary Vacancies on the Blenheim and Picton Fire

results of the elections held on the 5th day of April 1955 by
the fire insurance companies carrying on business in New
Zealand to fill extraordinary vacancies on the Blenheim and
