In the matter of the Religious Charitable and Educational Trusts Act 1908 and its amendments, and in the matter of the estate of MARGARET CAROLINE FINEY, of Papakura, Spinster (deceased).

NOTICE is hereby given that the Maori Trustee has referred to the Supreme Court at Auckland for approval a scheme propounded under Part III of the Religious Charitable and Educational Trusts Act 1908 and its amendments in respect of a bequest under the will of the above-named Margaret Caroline Finey (deceased) to the Registrar for the time being of the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Board of a property near Papakura to be used by him as a convalescent home for Maoris, and such scheme has been propounded as it is impossible to carry out the terms of such bequest, and that the motion for approval of the said scheme will be heard at the Supreme Court House, Auckland, on Friday, the 20th day of May 1955, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.

A copy of the scheme may be inspected at the Supreme Court Office at Auckland, or at the offices of Messrs Earl, Kent, Massey, Palmer, and Haggitt, Solicitors for the Maori Trustee, Fifth Floor, New Zealand Insurance Building, 105 Queen Street, Auckland C.1.

NOTICE is hereby given that by a special resolution by an entry in the minute book dated 1 April 1955, in the manner provided by section 300 of the Companies Act 1933, it was resolved that in pursuance of section 221 (1) (b) of the Companies Act 1933 the company be wound up voluntarily and that John Edward Tunngton, of Wellington, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Subscriptions.—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:—

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
