Board Appointed to Have Control of Tasman Memorial Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Nelson Land District, ex officio,

The Chairman of the Takaka County Council, ex officio,

The Chairman of the Pohara Domain Board, ex officio, and

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Golden Bay Cement Company Limited, or in his absence, the Works Manager and Director of the Company at Tarakohe, or in the absence of both, the person acting in the stead of the said Chairman, or in his absence, the person acting in the stead of the said Works Manager,

to be the Tasman Memorial Reserve Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as an historic reserve.

Appointment of Waimeha Domain Board Revoked and Horowhenua County Council Appointed Domain Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Waimeha Domain Board, and further, appoints the Horowhenua County Council to be the Waimeha Domain Board to have control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.

Declaring Brownston Domain to be Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and Revoking the Reservation Over the Said Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Brownston Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of that Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said land.
