"That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind-up and that it be wound up accordingly, and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held at the Council Room of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Courthouse Lane, Auckland, on the 30th day of March 1955, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the company's affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and may appoint a committee of inspection."

APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE FOR A WATER-RACE
I, WILLIAM GEORGE HALL, of Patearoa, Farmer, hereby give notice that I have applied for a licence for a water-race to divert half a head of water for purposes of a supply for use of stock and irrigation, commencing in Sowburn Creek in an area of Crown land adjoining Section 52, Block I, Upper Taieri District, occupied by William Henry Downie, running thence westerly a distance of 200 yards through the said area and into said Section 52 owned by me and terminating therein. The application and all objections thereto will be heard on Wednesday, 20 April 1955, at 10 a.m., at the Warden's Court at Cromwell, and all objections must be filed in the Registrar's office and notified to me or my Solicitor at least three days before the time so appointed.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:—
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
