A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 1 rood 33 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 19, Block XIII, Waitara Survey District, and part Section 3 and Lot 2, D.P. 4113, being part Section 3, Block I, Huiroa Survey District.

Situated in Block I, Huiroa Survey District. (S.O. 8667.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145942 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of March 1955.

Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District, City of Wellington. (S.O. 22995.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143017 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hokianga County, containing by admeasurement 116 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, and being Section 85, Block IX, Wacku Survey District (provisional State forest, Gazette 1924, page 801). As the same is shown on plan No. 7/5, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of March 1955.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL the area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of Islands County, containing by admeasurement 2,840 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Sections 15, 20, and 21, Block VII, and Sections 3, 4, 11, 13, 17, and part of Section 5, Block VIII, Kawakawa Survey District, and Allotments 138 and 139, Kawakawa Parish, situated in Block VIII aforesaid. As shown on plan No. 6/13, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 18051, 18052, 20939, 27865, 31455, 34791, and 38273.)

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Huntly

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, subject to the interests reserved by Memorandum of Transfer No. 14739, Auckland Land Registry, for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of March 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods 38·2 perches.

Being Lots 67, 69, 70, and 71, D.P. S.2852, being parts Allotment 9, Parish of Pepepe, and being part of the land formerly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 67, folio 21, Auckland Land Registry.

Situated in the Borough of Huntly.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of March 1955.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1933, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the certificate of the Chief Justice and two other Judges of the Supreme Court that it is not desirable or expedient that the hearing of the appeal against sentence of Charles Henry Freaman be deferred until the next ordinary sitting of the Court of Appeal, hereby declares that a special sitting of the Court of Appeal shall be held at the Supreme Court House, Wellington, on Monday, the 28th day of March 1955, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon.
