RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Extension and Improvement Loan 1955, of £800,000 IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

'That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £800,000, known as the General Extension and Improvement Loan 1955 of £800,000, for the purpose of providing further reticulation in the Auckland Electric Power District and the general extension and improvement of the supply within that district, the Auckland Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-twentieths of a penny (3/20d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Auckland Electric Power District comprising the City of Auckland together with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Manurewa, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, Papakura, Papatoetoe, the Road Districts of Panmure and Western Waiheke, and the County of Manukau; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.' 1339

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Station Loan 1954, £10,695 IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Otorohanga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

'That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ten thousand six hundred and ninety-five pounds (£10,695), authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of the fire station, hose and siren tower, concrete yard, paths and fences, and station furnishings, the said Otorohanga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one decimal nine hundred and three pence (1.903d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Otorohanga comprising the whole of the Borough of Otorohanga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvement Loan 1954, £60,380 IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Otorohanga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

'That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of sixty thousand three hundred and eighty pounds (£60,380), authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the improving of the water supply and existing reticulation, extending reticulation to new areas, providing service reservoirs, filtration and treatment plants, the said Otorohanga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ten decimal four pence (10.4d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Otorohanga comprising the whole of the Borough of Otorohanga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'

Housing Loan 1953 IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and its amendments and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Bruce Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:

'That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Housing Loan 1953 of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Bruce Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refunding to General Account moneys applied in the purchase of a dwelling, the Bruce Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings (3d.) per acre upon all the rateable property in the Bruce Rabbit Board, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully repaid.'

Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Bruce Rabbit Board held on 7 February 1955 the above resolution was passed.
