Pharmacy Industry
A. M. Young, 20 Vincent Street, Howick, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Picton Street, Howick.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit
R. H. Lyster, Okau Road, Ahititi, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Okau Road, Ahititi.
C. M. Andrews, Ltd., Tui Street, Taihape, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Tui Street, Taihape.
Jordon and Jordon, Ltd., Tauranga Road, Ngongotaha, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Tauranga Road, Ngongotaha.
C. W. Haszard, Grove Road, Papakura, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Grove Road, Papakura.
T. J. Yelavich, Main Road, Riverhead, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Main Road, Riverhead.
Pihama Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Opunake, has applied for licences to resell motor spirit from one pump at each of the following reselling points: (1) cheese factory premises at Skeet Road, Opunake, (2) cheese factory premises at Waiteika Road, Opunake, (3) cheese factory premises at Main South Road, Opunake.
J. N. and H. W. Bell, Pukekapia, Huntly West, have applied for a licence to resell motor spirit otherwise than through pumps ex carrying premises at Pukekapia, Huntly West.
L. A. Hogg, Rongotea, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit otherwise than through pumps ex premises in Douglas Square, Rongotea.
Margans Ltd., Main Street, Matiere, has applied for permission to change the retail selling point of the company's two pumps from present premises at Main Street, Matiere, to new premises on the corner of Main and Wharui Streets, Matiere.
E. Dinsdale, No. 2 R.D., Maihihi, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed store premises at Maihihi.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 18 February 1954, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.

The Standards Act 1941—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification: No. D.4467. Code of Practice for the Laying and Fixing of Aluminium Roofing
NOTICE is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand Standard Specification is now being circulated to affected interests for consideration and comment. The closing date fixed for such comment is 8 March 1954.
All persons who may be affected by this specification once it has been declared a standard specification by the Minister of Industries and Commerce may, at any time before the closing date for comments, obtain, on application, free copies from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton Quay (P.O. Box 195), Wellington, so as to have an opportunity to consider the draft and to comment thereon to the Standards Council or to an appropriate committee of the Council in accordance with subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 (Tuparoa Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 30th day of June 1933 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 50 of 13 July 1933 at page 1902, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 522 of the Maori Land Act 1931 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936) were applied to, inter alia, the said land.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Maori Land Court District, situate in Waiapu Survey District, and known as Herenga A 12, containing 121 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less.

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1528, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1526* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
